Privacy Policy

Information We Collect

When you contact us via our website form or email, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the details of your enquiry. We do not collect any payment information directly — all payments are processed through secure third-party gateways.

How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide project quotes
  • To communicate about ongoing projects and deliverables
  • To send occasional updates about our services (you may opt out at any time)
  • We never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on servers located in India. We use industry-standard encryption and access controls. Enquiry data is retained for a maximum of 3 years and then securely deleted.

Cookies, Analytics & Tracking

Essential cookies necessary for the site to function (e.g., CSRF tokens for form security) are always active. We do not use advertising cookies.

With your consent, we load analytics and visitor-insight tools that help us understand how the site is used and improve it. When you accept the consent banner, the following may be collected:

  • Privacy-focused page analytics (via our self-hosted Umami instance)
  • Approximate location and network, derived from your IP address (via the third-party service ipapi.co)
  • Device, browser, operating system, screen size, language and referral source
  • On-page behaviour such as pages viewed, scroll depth, clicks and form interaction, to help us improve usability

If you decline, none of these scripts load and no behavioural or analytics data is collected. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data for this domain. We never sell this data or use it for advertising.

Section 2

Terms of Service

Engagement & Scope

All project work is governed by a written agreement or Statement of Work (SOW) agreed upon before work begins. Work outside the agreed scope will be quoted and approved separately before execution.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, clients receive ownership of all custom code and deliverables created specifically for their project. Third-party tools, libraries, and platforms remain subject to their respective licenses.

Client Responsibilities

  • Timely provision of required access, data, and feedback
  • Designating a point of contact for project communications
  • Ensuring third-party system access and API keys are provided as needed

Limitation of Liability

Chatur Software shall not be liable for losses arising from third-party platform outages, API changes by external providers, or client-side data errors. Our liability is limited to the value of the project fee paid for the specific deliverable in question.

Section 3

Refund & Cancellation

Project Cancellation

Either party may cancel a project with 14 days written notice. Work completed up to the cancellation date will be billed at the agreed rate. Any prepaid amounts for unstarted work will be refunded within 10 business days.

Milestone-Based Projects

For milestone-based engagements, completed and delivered milestones are non-refundable. If a milestone is not delivered as agreed, we will rework it at no additional cost or provide a refund for that milestone.

Section 4

Confidentiality & NDA

We treat all client information — business processes, data, system details, and project requirements — with strict confidentiality. We are happy to sign your NDA template or provide ours before any sensitive information is shared.

Our team members are bound by confidentiality obligations. We do not discuss client work publicly without explicit written permission.
